SRLT depends on generous donations from individuals, corporations and foundations that support our mission. We have a two person staff, supported as needed by contracted lawyers and accountants, and we operate out of offices donated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Our efficient operation translates into maximum conservation impact for your donations. Please support us today.
Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Discover and Paypal accepted.
NOTE: You do NOT have to register with Paypal to make a credit card donation to SRLT.
Many thanks to SRLT's 2012 Stewardship Champions, who make our preservation work possible.

Recognition based on cumulative donations or pledges over two consecutive years. Easement donations are recognized separately. Inkind gifts are included. Benefactors are recognized for lifetime gifts.
Friends of SRLT
All financial donors and donors of volunteer time to SRLT are considered “Friends of SRLT.” We do not have a formal membership program (no fancy memberships cards or gift t-shirts here), but all of our Friends receive our quarterly newsletter, email blasts (if requested) on special activities, and invitations to “behind the scenes” tours of private properties that are rarely open to the public.
Putting SRLT in your will
In your will, you can leave a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a specific asset of your estate to SRLT. Naming SRLT as a beneficiary of your estate can be a generous and financially responsible way to make a special gift which might not otherwise be possible during your lifetime. Bequests can be unrestricted, which allows the funds to be applied to the most critical need or they can be designated for a specific area of SRLT’s work. We currently have a dedicated reserve fund for easement stewardship.
While you should always consult with your legal advisor, documenting a bequest can be as simple as adding language to your will: “I give and bequeath (_____% share of the residue of my estate) or ($____ of the residue of my estate) to Scenic Rivers Land Trust, Inc. (Federal identification number 52-1664141), a non-profit, charitable corporation headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland.

Other Donation Options
SRLT can work with your financial or legal advisors to create tax-advantaged donation vehicles such as Charitable Remainder Trusts, Annuities, and Unitrusts that meet your financial planning needs and support our conservation work.
