2025 Volunteer Land Steward Training

August 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Calling all volunteers who love the outdoors! Scenic Rivers is seeking volunteers to help us with the critical work of conducting our annual conservation easement monitoring visits.

Monitoring visits are Scenic Rivers’ opportunity to connect with conservation easement landowners, track what is happening on the land, ensure all activities conform to the terms of the easement, and identify potential issues before they advance. These site visits and the accompanying reports are a vital component of our commitment to the land under easement with Scenic Rivers.

The team of volunteers who assist us in this work are incredibly important!

Scenic Rivers now has more conservation easements under our stewardship than ever before—which is why we need YOUR help more than ever before!

This training is required for new volunteers and strongly encouraged for returning monitors—join us to get prepped for a meaningful fall season in the field! Or, feel free to attend if you just want to know more about this program.

Training will take place at the Busch Annapolis Library—Campbell-Chambliss Community Meeting Room AB (Both Sides) on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 6pm until 7:30pm.

For more information, contact our Stewardship Coordinator, Erin Kilbane, at Erinkilbane@srlt.org or 443.714.7742.
